George Golf Course, George, C.J. Langenhoven Street

Nestled in the foothills of the magnificent Outeniqua mountains. George Golf Club is among the oldest courses in the country. George Country Club has for many years maintained a worthy rating amongst the top ten golf courses in South Africa. Currently rated 7th in the country, some rate it as the best in the Southern Cape. This course comes highly recommended and it is in peak condition.

Oubaai Golf Estate, George, Herolds Bay Road

This Ernie Els designed Golf Course opened in 2005 near his holiday home at Herolds Bay. The Course is a Links layout, built on Oceanside cliffs. Els himself has paced Oubaai as his favourite course in the world.

The course is located at the Hyatt Regency Oubaai Golf Resort & Spa near Herolds Bay on the coastline. George and George Airport are approximately 10km away.

Kingswood Golf Estate, George, Plattner Blvd.

Set amid rolling fairways in the heart of George. High vantage points along the course afford dramatic views of the Outeniqua Mountains. This, contrasted with natural valley holes and environmentally protected riverine locations, make the Golf experience at Kingswood unique.

Fancourt Golf Resort, George, Montagu Street

Fancourt Golf Estate in George is home of three 18 holes golf courses. All courses are designed by Gary Player. The course Montagu is designed as a Park Landscape with trees and flower beds. The course Outeniqua is easier than Montagu, with open spaces and water streams. The Links at Fancourt is the highlight of all three. Designed as a classic links course with inspirations from Scotland and Ireland. A golf academy offers trainings for all golfers.

Mossel Bay Golf Course, Mossel Bay, 17th Avenue

The course is an easy walk and very playable from tee to green for all golfers, even if you have just taken up the game. The beautiful views of the Indian Ocean or the Springbuck roaming on the course might distract you, but they will most definitely leave you with lasting memories.
